After studying my natural surroundings by documenting shape, colour, and textures I developed a particular interest in the adaptable nature of lichens and mosses by exploring textures and growth patterns through close-up and macro photography. Excited by the newly discovered and enhanced textures through macro imagery, she uses the combination of material manipulation and rug-making techniques to create interchangeable floor and wall installations that adapt to the space.
